"America is going through its Pluto return, so it's time for the end!"
I've seen this numerous times.
Yes, Pluto can represent destruction and the "end", but what does this actually mean for America?
If you're American, you know there has been a recent influx in the worries of how America is progressing financially and how the disparities between classes have been brought to the attention to those who didn't pay it much mind initially. Wages are no longer livable, yet it's becoming easier to spend $100 on basic necessities at the grocery stores. Families are living pay check to pay check while they are spending most of their time in the office rather than at the very home they can barely afford.

In this casted chart from Astro-Databank, America has its Pluto in Capricorn. The most powerful (Pluto) people in this country from the beginning of its creation are the ones who have the most money (Capricorn). Capricorn is focused on profit and often symbolizes capitalistic tendencies. It is no mistake that the very ones with the most influence are the ones who are willing to ignore their morals and fall into the capitalistic ways of this country. It's because America itself rewards that behavior.
Historically, the rich owned the land. They owned the most slaves. They owned the means of production.
Now, the rich still own the land-- they are the landlords hiking up the prices to create more profit and blocking off their private beaches. They are the CEOs, politicians, and top business owners who dictate (Pluto) the conditions in which the workers are working under (Capricorn) and sign laws that will benefit themselves and their rich lobbyist friends.
With Pluto finally making a complete roundabout in 2008 back to the very sign America's Pluto was originally at, this is when a very detrimental recession happened. This was our first clue.
As Pluto nears the late degrees in Capricorn, these economic problems will resurface.
Coupled with this Pluto return, Uranus (spontaneous change) is in Taurus (currency and money). Our dollar does not and will not go as far as it once did, exemplified by low wages and increasing prices for housing. Not only that, but it can possibly represent the decrease in value of the dollar or the crash of the US dollar. It could even bring a new form of currency (not necessarily crypto).
This Pluto return in Capricorn will mean that America will have to reconcile with the history that is repeating itself.
As Pluto nears its transition to Aquarius, we will see the people (represented by Aquarius) demanding their power back (Pluto). This will create protests and demands for structural change. It'll create inspirational movements as the citizens have had enough. There will also be mass exodus as people are fed up with America's ways and will search for a better life elsewhere.
After January 2024 when Pluto in Aquarius is in America's 3rd house, the house of neighborhoods and locality, we will have to network and build community with our neighbors to bring about this change. We will have to eventually band together, using mutual aid and offering shelter to those who may need it.
I don't see a permanent change in America's ways until much much later after years of hard work, until Pluto nears America's moon in Aquarius at 27 degrees.
This isn't to scare, but it is to inspire and create hope for change. Capitalism is not sustainable and is bound to collapse, and it will. It is necessary.
